Retina tease
Version 1.5 of River of News is just about ready to be submitted to the App Store. I wanted to give you a teaser shot of the gorgeous new retina graphics.

ReplyDeleteOne question, did you adress the frequent crashing (out of memory) on first gen ipads? That would be a welcome fix. My RiverofNews crashes about 5-6 times when going through about 250 articles total. Very annoying to say the least...

ReplyDeleteAgreed about RON being most used app. I upgraded iPad 1 to iPad 3 because of low memory problems for RON on iPad 1.
ReplyDeleteAny chance of getting a "Mark as read" button or gesture? When "Mark items as read while scrolling" is OFF, there is no real good way of actually marking an item as read.
ReplyDeleteAlso the fix for frequent crashing on first gen ipads would be appreciated.
1.5 Sure feels slower opening the drop downs ans feeds window. They would open instantly in the old version now there is a noticeable delay.
